Since 2006 Jeffrey and Justin have been working at the Off The Block Artisans program of Covenant House Washington. Off The Block is a job training program preparing young, disadvantaged youth from the DC metro area to enter the skilled trade profession. Using a small production woodworking shop as a vehicle for instruction, Artisans are given the skills and confidence necessary to enter the workforce.

Artisans begin the Program as entry-level Trainees and are taught all aspects in the production of a small line of wooden products.
